  1. TBoM is a tremendous way to end the series. While Eye of the Oracle does a great job setting up the OoF concept showing Mara’s transformation, and EG and LotN have amazing moments, nothing compares to the finale…at least in my humble opinion.

  2. I do love Eye of the Oracle, but The Bones of Makaidos is my favorite because there are so many emotional moments, so much suspense, and of course there’s the part when Saphira and Elam reunite. The wedding is also amazing, especially Billy and Bonnie’s.

  3. I picked Eye of the Oracle because it made me fall in love with your books all over again. I love how you weaved the bible stories into it and brought in different points of view from previous books. I hadn’t realized a storyteller could put so much layering into their story before. Plus it’s a fascinating story with introduction to some wonderful characters.

  4. I just really liked Enoch’s Ghost, but it’s been nearly a year since I’ve read them that I’m not sure if I could explain why. I really LOVED ALL of them!

  5. I loved all the books in the Oracle’s of Fire series, especially TBoM and EotO, but I had to choose The Bones of Makaidos because of the ending, which was very satisfying, and the weddings too, which made me very happy ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Bones of Makaidos hands down the forever winner in my heart. I love aboslutely every page of the book. The depth of emotion and spirituality in the book. It is a beautifully concocted story that takes my breath away each time I read it.

  7. I love all of them, but TBoM really spoke to me, especially when Goliath sacrificed himself.

  8. I chose Eye of the Oracle because it made me look at the bible a different way. It showed me just how many events could’ve happened that we don’t know about, And I also loved the themes and the story line.

  9. TBoM for entirely too many reasons to type down, but the biggest one is definitely Elam and Sapphira’s reunion ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Tbom was my favorite book because of sapphire and Elams wedding.

  11. TBoM was most likely the best (I need to reread that whole series!) but I voted for Eye of the Oracle just because I loved the history so much.

  12. I love them all so much it was hard to decide, but in the end I chose Eye of the Oracle because it is so original. It’s what gets my blood pumping and excited for reading the whole series for the 3rd or 4th or 5th time. The Bones of Makaidos was a close runner up though because I love the finish and the fulfillment of my favorite couple (ever) Elam and Sapphira Adi. I was always able to relate very closely with Sapphira. And Elam. But anyway, I love the whole series so much. They are by far the best books I have ever read!!!

  13. I think The Bones of Makaidos is the best. It has a great ending and seems to bring the whole story to a great closure. The battles, loves, revelations, and endings are amazing and enthralls the readers through the whole book. It’s AWESOME!

(The Last of the Nephilim is my second favorite by the way) ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. I loved every book, but my favorite is TBoM.

    1) The Reunion

    2) The Weddings

    3) Goliath

  15. I loved The Bones of Makaidos because of the weddings. I would read that part again and again. You’re awesome, Mr. Bryan! Thank you for the time you put into these books and this blog! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  16. I had a hard time choosing, I love them all! Bones of Makaidos won though, mainly because I just loved the ending. The wedding scene is just amazing! ๐Ÿ™‚ But I really just loved everything about it! It was such a good ending that I would have (almost) been content if the story ended there, (again, almost.)

Thank you Mr. Davis for bringing us this amazing story that has inspired so many!

(P.S. Eye of the Oracle came in second)

  17. The last of the neffilim would be my choice because of the story line and it brings billy back into the picture. I like the last book a lot to.
